The Corvette offers all-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The Vanquish doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.

The Corvette has standard OnStar®, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to get turn-by-turn driving directions, remotely unlock your doors if you lock your keys in, help track down your vehicle if it’s stolen or send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Corvette and the Vanquish have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available blind spot warning systems and rear cross-path warning.

Chevrolet’s powertrain warranty covers the Corvette 2 years longer than Aston Martin covers the Vanquish. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Vanquish ends after only 3 years.

There are over 82 times as many Chevrolet dealers as there are Aston Martin dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Corvette’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Corvette second among compact premium sporty cars in their 2025 Initial Quality Study. The Vanquish isn’t in the top three in its category.

The Corvette ZR1X’s standard 5.5 turbo V8 hybrid produces 426 more horsepower (1250 vs. 824) and 212 lbs.-ft. more torque (950 vs. 738) than the Vanquish’s 5.2 turbo V12.

The Corvette can travel with zero emissions on a full charge for 5 miles. The Vanquish can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

Regenerative brakes improve the Corvette E-Ray/ZR1X’s fuel efficiency by converting inertia back into energy instead of wasting it. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a regenerative braking system.

The Corvette has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system.

The Corvette offers a standard sequential manual gearbox (SMG). With no clutch pedal to worry about and a fully automatic mode, an SMG is much more efficient than a conventional automatic but just as easy to drive. The Vanquish doesn’t offer an SMG or a conventional manual transmission.

All wheel drive, available in the Corvette, provides the best traction for acceleration in wet, dry, and icy conditions. In corners, all wheel drive allows both outside wheels to provide power, balancing the car. This allows for better handling. The Aston Martin Vanquish is not available with all wheel drive.

The Corvette Z06/E-Ray/ZR1’s 275/30R20 front and 345/25R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 30 series front and 25 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Vanquish’s 35 series front and 30 series rear tires.

The Corvette has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Vanquish doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires standard on the Corvette can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Vanquish doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Corvette Z06 Z07 Coupe handles at 1.16 G’s, while the Vanquish Coupe pulls only 1.00 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.

The Corvette Z06 Z07 Coupe executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 1.4 seconds quicker than the Vanquish Coupe (21.9 seconds @ .99 average G’s vs. 23.3 seconds @ .94 average G’s).

For better maneuverability, the Corvette with Magnetic Ride Control’s turning circle is 5.3 feet tighter than the Vanquish’s (36.4 feet vs. 41.7 feet). The Corvette’s turning circle is 3.6 feet tighter than the Vanquish’s (38.1 feet vs. 41.7 feet).

The Chevrolet Corvette may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 550 to 850 pounds less than the Aston Martin Vanquish.

The Corvette is 10.2 inches shorter than the Vanquish, making the Corvette easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Corvette’s standard power retractable hardtop allows a seamless transition from an open car, to a completely sealed coupe. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a retractable hardtop.

The Corvette Coupe has a much larger trunk than the Vanquish Coupe (12.6 vs. 8.8 cubic feet).

This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. Aston Martin doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Vanquish.

The Corvette has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Corvette’s optional easy entry system raises the steering wheel and glides the driver’s seat back when the door is unlocked or the ignition is switched off, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The Vanquish doesn’t offer an easy entry system.

The Corvette’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Vanquish does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Corvette offers an optional heads-up display that projects speed, tachometer, turn signal and navigation instruction readouts in front of the driver’s line of sight, allowing drivers to view information without diverting their eyes from the road. The Vanquish doesn’t offer a heads-up display.

The Corvette’s standard rear view mirror and optional side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Vanquish has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.
